MODA BH3 Block 3 - - Crown and Starts

To me this 6" block's name is " Red Plum Blossoms in Snow" ~

In 2018 I had made one of the same block as of "Christmas Cactus Flower" ,
and used in table runner. 

It was a 12" block.

2020 Aurifil BOM --- January Block : Milano

Another new Aurifil Block of Month (BOM) has started. 

January's Block is Milano.

It looks very easy to make but no too easy for me at all 😄

Love how it turned out! 

  

Using a layer cake set that I bought a year ago. 

Look at the color in daytime, it is more bright and nice~

Pieces From the Past --- Block 1 : Signature Block

Start doing the Quilt Along "Pieces From the Past"  with Melva.

Really like those old patterns that were cut out from newspaper.
The first block is called Signature Block.
The original block is 12", but again I have limited fabrics to use on this set,
so I made a 4" square.
Will do the "signature" part later.  (Oops, typo found.... should be Block in the picture, not Blick)

MODA BH3 --- Block 2: Sunshine Star

2nd block of MODA BH3 is a easy star to make!

Made a small 4" block with some FQs and fabrics from a charming pack.

MODA Blockheads 3 - - Block1 Star Chain

Started MODA Blockheads 3 last week!  

Loved BH1 and BH2 but didn't follow the fun.  

Will try BH3 with my current fabrics. 

Since don't have too much fabric in hand, plan to piece small size blocks, 4"-6"
