Here is my block 4 of Pat Sloan’s QAL 

“Summer Soirée ”

Title is “you are invited ~”

Planned to make a 6” but calculated wrong, 

so it ended up as a 4” block.

 Here is the block 3 of Summer Soirée quilting along with Pat Sloan.

Today’s block is “The Guest List”.

Since I am doing 6” block, the small squares in my block measure as 3/4” finished.

I love reading the story Melva shared in her blog.

I had traveled to brand new places many times, 

lots of new cultures and languages to learn,

new foods to try, and different types of people too. 

 Great memories. 

The block is also enclosed in “The Farmer’s Wife 1920”, 

I made one before in 4.5”, not easy…

Actually, last year I made a wall hanging, 

the central part also used this traditional block.

Name is  “Purple Daisy”
