This block was designed to used fusible applique method.  

Don't have any fusible fabric and couldn't go out to buy since the COVID -19,

so I just pieced the fabrics by orders, like Foundation Paper Piecing.

Really like how it turned out ~

A beautiful block!

A nice small block, easy to make.

And I want use this pattern to set 50 6" blocks,  

time to cut the fabric and start sew, 

feeling this pattern gonna take a long time

Bought these two kits when I just came to USA, knowing very little about quilting, 

just because they looked so beautiful.

Finished the first one "Road to the World" by hand piecing and hand quilting.  

Also pieced 6 blocks of rose bu hand sewing, 

daughter was born and it became an UFO for 12 years!   

Until May 2007 I took it out, finished the top, 

but don't know how to machine quilt it, 

became UFO again until last Month.

So glad I finished it~
